Welcome to Earth Mother Astrology!

Hi!
Welcome!

This blog started as a forum outside Cafemom to discuss our child's potential through the study of astrology. I hope to have useful information on this blog that is easily understood and accessible to most users. Please be patient with me as I have a small boy that I'm rearing as well as a husband, 3 cats, a dog and a fledgling business(see my other blog: busylittleelf.blogspot.com to see what I'm talking about!)

I will try to make one significant post each week.

My Astrological Background

I am a married mother of one fabulous little Cancer sun boy, born in 2007. I was first introduced to astrology about 35 years ago when my mother started studying astrology and joined the Lake County Astrological Association. I had the pleasure of attending some of her meetings as a child and was honored to meet and learn from Sophie Mason, Sandra Leigh Serio, Buzz Myers, Anne Ryan, Bruce Marshall and many other well known astrologers. I have personally and seriously studied astrology for 20+ years, having an extensive library of astrological texts I have acquired throughout the years.(I hope to eventually list my entire library, although that task will take quite a while since my little one is quite active and takes first priority!) My favorite area of study is finding and encouraging the potential of the natal chart. I have done countless charts for the parents of newborns as well as as natal, transit, progressed and solar return chart readings for others. I also enjoy studying the astrology of family dynamics. I personally use astrology as a tool to create a better, more harmonious life. Most recently, I attended the 2007 Midwest Astrology Conference (two weeks before the birth of my son!!)

Oh...for the astrologically curious... I have an 11th house 0ºVirgo Sun, 11th house 25º Leo Moon with 4º Libra rising. I have a Virgo stellium in the 12th house [12ºJupiter, 15ºMercury,18º Venus, 21ºPluto and 27º Uranus] My Mars is 11º Leo in the 11th house, I have a 24º Scorpio Neptune in the 2nd house and lonely Saturn sits all by his grumpy old retrograde self in the 7th house at 25ºAries!
